Nintendo released a new video focused on DOOM on its YouTube channel today. As you may recall, this shooter was announced for Switch in mid-September and Bethesda confirmed that it would be available later this year. The new advances of this FPS is given in an interview with Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin of id Software.
The developers talk about what we can expect from this version of the shooter and also confirm its release date on Switch. Members of id Software remind users of the console that they can enjoy the entire original DOOM campaign. Also, they will have the opportunity to play the multiplayer mode with all the DLC included. The release of this title is scheduled for November 10.
Later, the creatives talk about the process of optimization of the shooter on the new console of Nintendo. The developers say that the experience on Switch is quite good, thanks to the great work of Panic Button, who are familiar with the Nintendo games and therefore they were the ones who optimized the FPS.
As for its technical performance, we know that DOOM will run at 30 fps and at a resolution of 720p. One detail to take into account is that the physical version of the game will only include the campaign, but you can download the multiplayer for free. For this, you will need 9GB of free space on your console.
