As it happened in the case of Darksiders 3, Amazon.com has unveiled in advance the existence of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PlayStation 4, version for the Sony home console of the title already available in Japanese arcades.
Apparently the online retail giant Amazon has just ruined one of Square Enix’s big surprises for next week’s E3, revealing in advance a version of Dissidia Final Fantay NT for PlayStation 4 in the west. So far, the game is only available in Japanese arcades.
Initially, the store advanced with the listing of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, the PS4 version, which despite not having an associated release date, revealed many of the features as well as the first trailer.
There are no particular details on Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PlayStation 4, the game would include a roster composed of 20 characters, where Noctis is included. It also speaks of a written plot by Kazushige Nojima (Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II) and a combat system rebalanced than the arcade version.
The product page on Amazon.com also includes a temporary cover and a release date placeholder (31 December 2017). In all likelihood the announcement of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will happen at E3 in Los Angeles, so we have to wait for official confirmation or denial by the publisher Square Enix.
