Disney’s Aladdin & The Lion King Remasters Leaked for Switch, PS4 & Xbox One
A few moments ago, the GameStop Managers Conference was the showcase to announce new games that are on the way and it was revealed that Disney’s Aladdin and The Lion King Remasters will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
The information was generated after an image of an attendee at the event was leaked on networks where the announcement of the return of both games is shown. According to what can be appreciated, the title will include both games in a single installment and although its release date has not been revealed, it has already generated mixed opinions about the version that will be taken as the basis for one of these remasters.
In case you do not know, the title of Disney’s Aladdin represented another chapter in the war of consoles that Super Nintendo and SEGA Genesis lived because of the differences, strengths and weaknesses of the titles made by Capcom and Virgin Games respectively that gave rise to a heated debate to define which was the best version. In the end, it was thought that the best of both games is the SEGA Genesis. It is worth mentioning that in the case of Capcom’s proposal, the title was designed by Shinji Mikami, the father of Resident Evil.
For its part, The Lion King was a title developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment that debuted in 1994 for SNES and SEGA Genesis, taking advantage of the popularity of the Disney movie. In this case, there was no place for such controversy and it is remembered as a good title for both consoles.
