Disney Thinking of Buying Activision, Says Investor
The financial sector will not rest and investment firms are always aware of what may be the best deals for their clients. However, these firms also usually recommend some interesting movements to companies and recently Gerber Kawasaki recommended Disney to buy Activision Blizzard.
A Bloomberg report revealed the recommendation made by Nick Licouris, representative of the investment firm Gerber Kawasaki, who suggests that Disney should take advantage of the situation of Activision Blizzard to complete a purchase operation. According to Licouris, Disney, a company that has launched an expansion strategy through the acquisition of companies for a few years, should take advantage of the current conditions that do not favor Activision Blizzard so much, which have had an impact on its presence in the stock market.
The analyst believes that the relationship between Disney and Activision Blizzard could be beneficial for both companies because the former could take advantage of its strong presence in media to boost video games and even esports businesses, taking into account that the professional competitive scene of Call of Duty continues growing.
Interestingly, the report also refers that Gerber Kawasaki has 90,000 shares of Activision and, from the perspective of Licouris, the best time to complete a purchase is currently given the conditions of both companies and the market.
