Dishonored 2 will have a day one patch of 9GB, this is as reported by Press-Start Australia website that has recently received a promo copy from Bethesda. This figure refers to the version for Xbox One but probably the day-one update is the same size even on PS4 and PC.
The size of Dishonored 2 on consoles is not a small thing? It is not over here. The day-one patch for the new title of Arkane Studios will weigh atleast 9GB. So, start to free up space on your console in advance, which is better.
At the moment we do not know what improvements or changes will be there in day one patch but given the rather substantial weight you should not ignore it and download it before you start the game for the first time.
In addition to this news, Bethesda has announced that Dishonored 2 will use the infamous anti-piracy system of Denuvo DRM. Arkane Studios has announced that Dishonored 2 has to catch up the Gold Phase of 10 days away from the exit and today, thanks to the official page of the game on Steam, the software company announced that it will use the anti-piracy system of Denuvo DRM to try to prevent illegal copies of Dishonored 2 getting exploited without pay.
The system is known to be pretty solid, however, it is not foolproof, for example Mirror’s Edge Catalyst which was using the same anti-piracy system got totally cracked by hackers.
Dishonored 2 will be available in Europe from November 11, those who have carried out the pre-order will start playing the game 24 hours in advance.
