Microsoft has released a new system update for Xbox One, currently only available to Insider users of the alpha circuit.

The new update 1711.171024-1923 introduces many novelties, including the possibility of game gifting, the existence of which had already been hypothesized several days ago. Users will be able to give their friends games for Xbox One, downloadable content such as maps and weapons packages, subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold, and even the Xbox Game Pass.

Just click on the “Buy as a Gift” button during the shopping process and choose the friend to send the selected content.

The novelties, of course, do not stop there. From now on, the console settings will be saved on the cloud and possibly be applied with a simple touch when logging on to a new console. TV & OneGuide functionality has been enhanced, as well as apps for iOS and Android, which will allow you to complete the Xbox One X set up while downloading the day-one update.

The games without Achievement can finally be hidden from the public and personal profile (this seems to be one of the most popular features of the user), while the small previews of Game Hub in the Help you can access content faster and without leaving the action. These are not the only novelties: for all the others, let’s read the long changelog available on the insider forum here.

Finally, we remind you that Xbox One X will be released on 7th November 2017 at a cost of $499 dollars.
