Rumor: Diane Kruger Will Play the Female Lead in Death Stranding

The cast of Death Stranding can already count on important elements of international cinematography such as Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus, and Guillermo del Toro. We know nothing, however, of female performers. Today, new rumors indicate the presence of Diane Kruger in the title of Hideo Kojima.
Many voices have repeatedly referred to the presence of Emma Stone, winner of the Oscar for La La Land, and Stefanie Joosten, interpreter of Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. None of these rumors has ever been confirmed, and in the meantime today another rumor has emerged: the YouTuber YongYea is sure that the female lead of Death Stranding will be interpreted by Diane Kruger, a German actress famous for films like Troy, National Treasure, and Inglorious Basterds.
YongYea has collected all the leaked clues recently and has made a video that you can find at this link. The Japanese designer took part in an event linked to the actress’s latest film, In the Fade. Diane Kruger, for her part, has posted on her Instagram profile a photo of Hideo Kojima and director Fatih Akin, where she is not even present, calling them “legends”. And if this was not enough, Kojima’s personal assistant has posted a photo of all three of them, which you can check at the bottom of this article.
As always we invite you to take this information with due precautions, waiting for more precise information. In February, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the director of the Metal Gear movie, had stated that Death Stranding will be something never seen before.
What do you think about it? We remind you that Death Stranding is under development for PlayStation 4, no release date has been announced yet for the title.
