A new release date for the PC version, found on the SteamDB website, raises the question of a delay about the launch of Devil May Cry 5 appears, but there are no official confirmations yet.

According to a rumor spread on ResetERA, the PC version of Devil May Cry 5 may have been delayed to May. On SteamDB https://steamdb.info/sub/304933/ the new release date reported for the Capcom game is May 7, 2019, slightly behind the date previously communicated.

At present DMC 5 is expected to release on March 8 on all platforms, it is unclear whether the date indicated by SteamDB is the result of a simple error or if it actually indicates a delay of only the PC version, or if it still goes to involve the console versions also.

We can only think of possible scenarios: it could be a delay applied only to the PC version, perhaps due to technical problems or perhaps only to the Steam version for exclusive time agreements, perhaps with another digital store.

Waiting for a clarification from the publisher, we invite you to take everything with due precautions, until new communications regarding Devil May Cry 5 comes forward.

Devil May Cry 5 is still scheduled to release on March 8 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a new demo of the game will be downloadable from February 7th.
