Devil May Cry 5 Reportedly Leaked Via Reseller’s Listing
At the end of 2017, a strong rumor emerged that ensured that Devil May Cry 5 was in development and that it would debut before the end of the current fiscal year. Now, the game appeared in the system of an online store, something that is already very common in these times.
So, the Austrian Gameware store included in its system Devil May Cry 5 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. And if that was not enough, the page also shows that the game will be available sometime in 2018.
This reinforces the hopes of the fans to see a new title of the series, as well as the awaited revelation of the Resident Evil 2 remake, of which we do not know for some time. However, we must take this information as a simple rumor, as it could be an error in the system.
According to a user of ResetEra, who claimed to have reliable information, Capcom has been working on Devil May Cry 5 for 2 years and will be presented for the first time at the Sony conference at E3 2018. Also, the informant indicated that the game would be ready to debut in November 2018.
What is a fact is that Daniel Southworth, an actor in charge of giving life to Vergil in the Devil May Cry series, shared on Facebook an image to remember Devil May Cry 3. In the photo, he appears with Hideaki Itsuno, director of the game, and Reuben Langdon, the voice of Dante. The curious thing is that the actor used the hashtag #E3, which caused the speculation to begin.
Finally, remember that in May of this year Capcom announced that it was preparing 2 strong launches worldwide that would arrive before March 2019, with the intention of expanding globally some of its main brands. This only makes us think of a couple of projects: Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5.
We will have to wait for official information from Capcom.
