Dead Rising Remasters are not getting developed internally at Capcom
The remastering of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is not in charge of Capcom, according to information from the official website of Xbox that revealed the release date, the 13th of September.
According to this information the first game is in charge by the Polish studio QLOC, who worked for DmC Devil May Cry on the current platforms. For Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, which will probably use basic version of the PC, Mercenary Technology is responsible, who worked in God of War 3 Remastered and the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Except for the official confirmation of these games, after filtration days before, Capcom has not revealed many details of these games, neither prices nor the official date. According to Microsoft, users can opt for a triple pack with three games.
The first game is played by Frank West that puts us in the shopping center of a small town in full zombie invasion. Frank will have to do everything necessary to sink the myriad of zombies trying to eat your brain.
Dead Rising 2, meanwhile, puts us in the role of Chuck Greene, professional motorcycle pilot ending in Fortune City surrounded by zombies. In addition to survive you need to get Zombrex to supply it to her daughter, Katey, because this drug is the only thing that will prevent her end up being an undead.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record gives a twist to the second half to get back at the controls of Frank West, thus leading us to new parts of Fortune City while facing all kinds of dangers.
