During the EVO Japan 2019, Koei Tecmo announced interesting news about Dead or Alive 6, including the arrival of the Deluxe Demo and the contents of the first DLC for the fighting game, released on the first of March.
The Deluxe Demo of Dead or Alive 6 will be available from February 22nd to 24th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, exclusively for Xbox LIVE Gold and PlayStation Plus subscribers. The trial version will allow you to play in Ranked mode, Free Training, Tutorial, Commando Training, Combo Challenge and to test a little Story Mode. The demo will include 24 characters with all the costumes and hairstyles unlocked.
Another novelty is the collaboration with The King of Fighters XIV: Mai Shiranui will be available in June, sold individually or as part of Season Pass 1, the latter available from March 1, including 62 costumes and packages Happy Wedding Costumes Vol. 1 & 2, New Costumes Set Vol. 1 & 2, new costumes for the SNK, NiCO and Nyotengu characters.
Also announced was the Dead or Alive World Championship, with qualifiers in Europe, North America and Asia, and a final in Japan with a total prize money of 10 million yen.
Dead or Alive 6 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 1.

The Deluxe Demo will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Gold members through the Microsoft Store, and will be playable on from February 22 to 24 (JST). The upcoming demo will consist of online Ranked and Lobby matches, as well as Free Training, Tutorial, Command Training, Combo Challenge, and an introduction to Story mode. The Demo will feature all 24 characters available at launch and all hairstyles and glasses will be available for each of the playable characters.

In addition, a collaboration with SNK’s The King of Fighters XIV was confirmed. Mai Shiranui joins the battle this June as a guest character alongside another King of Fighters combatant who has yet to be announced. The fighters will be sold separately, but will also be included in Season Pass 1. Dead or Alive 6’s initial Season Pass will be available for purchase on March 1 and will also include 62 new costumes: “Dead or Alive 6 Happy Wedding Costumes Vol. 1″ and “2,” “Dead or Alive 6 New Costumes Set Vol. 1″ and “2,” and additional character costumes for the two SNK fighters. Season Pass bonuses will also feature new NiCO and Nyotengu costumes. All Season Pass 1 content will be made available between March and June 2019.
Dead or Alive World Championship:
Team Ninja also revealed the first information on the upcoming Dead or Alive World Championship. Qualifiers will be held in North America, Europe, and Asia, with each region’s top players competing at the Grand Finals in Japan. Qualifiers and Grand Finals total prize money will be equivalent to 10 Million Yen (JPY).
