505 Games has announced that it will release the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Dead by Daylight, officially announced earlier this week. The game will instead be published in digital format by Starbreeze Studios.

Digital Bros has signed, through its subsidiary 505 Games, a deal with Starbreeze Studios for worldwide distribution of the console versions for the retail market, with the exception of the Scandinavian and Asian markets, the video game of Dead by Daylight.

The console versions of Dead by Daylight are still without a release date, the publisher has merely confirmed that the title will arrive on the two platforms mentioned in the course of 2017. However, Dead by Daylight could be available in the retail version for Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One during the last quarter of the year ending 30 June 2017.

The management of Digital Bros has reported that this agreement strengthens the prospects for net income already planned for the entire year, although not to an extent to allow the overcoming of the results achieved in the previous year, which had benefited from the sale of rights of PayDay 2.

The game developed by Behaviour Interactive has sold 1.8 million copies on Steam, being a hit with audiences and critics, the arrival of consoles is therefore good news for all fans of horror games.
