Days Gone Developer’s Next Title Is Already in Pre-Production

Having met with some success with the player’s thanks to the exclusive title of PlayStation 4, Days Gone, the development company SIE Bend Studio seems to be working on a brand new game.

The development studio SIE Bend Studio (known for the title of Siphon Filter and Uncharted on PlayStation Vita) has recently returned to the front of the stage thanks to the official release of its exclusive PlayStation 4 game called Days Gone. Showcasing the adventures of Deacon St. John’s in a post-apocalyptic world more populated by the undead than humans, the title gathered a comfortable place in the hearts of players.

After a few months of existence for the title, the development team is again ready to look into a brand new game. Jeremy Vickery, chief lighting effects and lighting effects manager for Days Gone, suggested this. Indeed, he revealed on his LinkedIn profile that he is “now involved in the pre-production planning for our next title.”

For the moment, all this remains rather mysterious. We do not know if they plan to release a sequel to the adventures of Deacon St. John – which would please its faithful fans – or a brand new adventure with a brand new franchise. It could well be that they have planned a new game of Siphon Filter, for example. In any case, nothing is less certain for now and it will be necessary to wait for an official communication from the studio to know more.
