Invader Studios, the famous Italian indie team scoring points for Resident Evil 2 Reborn, announced Daymare: 1998, a survival horror game set in the late 90s, to be released on PC and moved by the powerful Unreal Engine 4.

Invader became known for its project of Resident Evil 2 Reborn, an unofficial remake of the classic canceled game of Capcom. After its announcement, Capcom invited the team to its studies at Osaka, and shortly thereafter confirmed an official remake.

Invader now works at their own game, which features artistic collaboration in creating creatures of Capcom’s exdesigner Satoshi Nakai, who participated in Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Among the details of Daymare: 1998, we know that it has several characters, limited saves, little ammunition and a multitude of references to popular culture of horror.

The title was born from the idea of the Italian group to pay tribute to one of the biggest titles ever created in the world of video games through a modern interpretation using the Unreal Engine 4 of Epic.
