Dauntless Guide: How to Farm Orbs
Let’s see where and how to find the Orbs we need to better enhance our equipment in Dauntless.
To create the best equipment in Dauntless you’ll have to get your hands on some Orbs, but how and where can you recover them? There are two ways to farm Orbs in Dauntless, which will allow you to upgrade your equipment to become an unbeatable Slayer. You can get the Orbs for each of the different elements present in Dauntless and, with the progression of the character, you will be able to face the most challenging Behemoths who will give you more Orbs. First of all, however, you’ll have to be at least level 4 before you can start farming, so let’s take a look at what needs to be done.
Types of Orbs:
First of all, you have to keep in mind that there are seven types of Orbs, so let’s take a look at which Behemoths you will have to hunt to get the type you need:
- Neutral Orbs from the Neutral Behemoths
- Umbral Orbs from the Umbral Behemoths
- Radiant Orbs from the Radiant Behemoths
- Earth Orbs from the Earth Behemoth
- Blaze Orbs from Blaze Behemoth
- Frost Orbs from the Frost Behemoths
- Shock Orbs from the Shock Behemoths
In this way, it is easy to identify which type of enemy you have to face in order to obtain the required Orbs, for the element you have chosen to specialize.
How to Farm Orbs:
The Hunt Patrols are definitely the easiest way to farm Orbs and hunt Behemoths. Keep chasing the Behemoths of a certain type of element and the Orbs will soon arrive, even from the smaller Behemoths.
Once you have completed the “Go Forth and Slay” mission and reached Slayer level 4, you will unlock the City on the Verge quest and the Hunt Patrols. For the first six Hunt Patrols successfully completed, to be done every day, the reward will be 10 Orbs. So, if you are looking for a specific type of Orb, the best thing to do is to focus on doing Patrol.
Each successful Patrol will reward you with 10 Orbs, so it won’t take long to get the spheres needed to upgrade the equipment. The only drawback is that you cannot know the level of the Behemoth you will be engaging until you are about to fight. So we always advise you to equip yourself with the best equipment, with potions and to form a team before throwing yourself into a Hunt Patrol.
