Amazon did it again. Darksiders 3 has been leaked for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC by the online distributor. Although the developers of the saga had already mentioned that there was a future for the franchise, no official announcement of a new game had been presented.
However, a product page in the largest online store was uploaded to the network ahead of time, and we not only know of the existence of such a title, but we have some interesting details about it. For example, the main character will be a mage called Fury and with magic you will have “access to new weapons, moves, and traversal abilities.”
In addition, on the Amazon page you could also read that you will have to “explore an open-ended, living, free-form game world in which Fury moves back and forth between environments to uncover secrets while advancing the story.” The goal is to defeat the Seven Deadly Sins and their servants.
For now, the release date that appears for this title is December 31, 2018, but surely it is a temporary and illustrative mark. The price will be $60 USD. Along with all this information were also revealed many screenshots of the game.
Darksiders and Darksiders II were launched in 2010 and 2012, respectively. After THQ fell in 2013, the company of Nordic Games acquired the rights to the saga.
