The day-one patch 1.01 version of Dark Souls 3 is now available for download in the West. The servers, however, are still not online.
The day-one patch for Dark Souls 3 according to some players reported earlier is now available in North America and Europe. In Japan, the action role-playing game is available since last week, which is why you may already checkout different gameplay walkthrough of the game. Only the patch 1.01 was missing.
Already through some manipulations with the regions you can download the English version of the game for the Xbox One console, but the developers have previously warned that doing this is not necessary and it is better to wait for the official release of the day-one patch, because it is poorly optimized and generally defective.
Dark Souls 3 Patch 1.01 version weighs approximately 1.1GB in size and includes some final improvements and integrates the online component. Updates can be downloaded at the moment only on Xbox One, but in the coming hours it should also arrive on PlayStation 4 and PC, those who made the preorder on digital platforms will also receive an updated copy with the latest patch.
The western servers are currently not yet online. This is likely to happen just before the official release of the game.
Dark Souls 3 will be released in US and Europe on April 12, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
