While rumors, notably fueled by its presence on SteamDB, spoke of the arrival of the game, out of the portable Sony console, Spike Chunsoft just published a message leaving little room for interpretation: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will soon come to Steam.

This time it is the first installment in the series that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will soon benefit from a release date. Spike Chunsoft published recently a message on social media twitter to announce the re-release of the game on PC.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a Visual Novel depicting the life of Makoto Naegi and her class mates in a Japanese high school Hope’s Peak. With your class mates, you should investigate, identify a culprit, gather evidence, and defend your opinion on the case. The game then switches between these different phases, and ends with a summary of the manga dressing.

Except where most games of the genre would tell the relatively common story of everyday student and beautiful love stories, we are dealing with a Teddy Bear genocide that will introduce you to a little game: You and your 15 “ultimate” comrades have only one way out.

If you like the Japanese environments with unhealthy bordering on the absurd and black humor, similarly like the Ace Attorney, take a look at the trailer below and dive with Monokuma in despair.

If one believes SteamDB, the second episode, Goodbye Despair should also be announced soon.
