Swery65, Director of Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Do not Die, will announce his new game during a panel hosted at the next PAX in Seattle. The event will start on the first day of September.
After leaving the video game industry last October to take a break, Hidetaka Suehiro (better known as Swery65) founded a new development studio in January, working on a new project.
In a recent statement, Swery65 said that his next game will be basically “perverted, violent and crazy”, attracting the curiosity of players and fans. Today we learn that the project will finally be unveiled at PAX in Seattle, an event during which Hidetaka Suehiro will be the protagonist of a panel.
The news was circulated by Jason Howley of Mega64 and Neighborhood Games Club with a post posted on Twitter. As you can see at the end of this news, Swery65 has confirmed his presence at the next PAX in Seattle by sharing Howley’s tweet.
You can also check out the full overview of the panel:
How I design games, what I get inspiration from, why I became a monk…
And at the end, I’ll announce my first new game in 3 years, the first since D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die!
I will have a cup of coffee at the talk, so please bring your cup of coffee as well. When you first come up to ask me a question, I’ll ask you about what kind of coffee you like. I don’t care who you are, if you don’t love coffee like I love coffee, I’ll ask you to leave. (Pending policy approval from PAX management.
We can not wait to find out more. What do you expect from the new game of the director of Deadly Premonition and D4?
