Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Include Lady Gaga in the Game, CD Projekt RED Confirms

Several months ago an indiscretion appeared concerning the alleged involvement of Lady Gaga in the title of Cyberpunk 2077. Now CD Projekt RED officially denies this rumor.

In a recent interview published on WCCFTech, the quest designer of the software house Alvin Liu wanted to dispel any doubts: “She’s pretty cyberpunk, so she could fit in. But um, yeah, no Lady Gaga.”

Thus, the famous pop star will not be present in any way in the game. Liu explains that Lady Gaga would fit perfectly into the setting, however there was never any contact between CD Projekt RED and the singer.

Continuing with the interview, the spokesman of the Polish studio took advantage of the opportunity to reveal a small background about Keanu Reeves’ entry into the project. Liu said that the actor said he was immediately intrigued by the artistic vision behind Cyberpunk 2077, so he immediately agreed to be part of it once he received the official proposal.

“A lot of people in studio love The Matrix, Johnny Mnemonic, Speed and all that stuff and he was just a really good match for our game genre and what we’re trying to do. When we approached him he was like ‘Yeah, I understand the artistic vision behind this, I can get behind it.’ He was just on board with it, which was great,” Liu commented.

Remember that Cyberpunk 2077 will release on April 16, 2020 on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
