During the pre-show of the Golden Joystick Awards, the Executive Producer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, John Mamais, spoke about the new project currently in development at CD Projekt offices.
The Producer said that since working on The Witcher for several years, many of the developers of the development house are tired of the fantasy (especially medieval) and are excited for Cyberpunk 2077, since it is for them something new and challenging.
Pressed by questions of the presenter, Mamais then stated that at the moment he cannot share more information, but concluded by saying that the game will be “really, really, really fu**ing badass.”
Knowing that it will take a long retreat from The Witcher, despite making GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, the attention of the studio is fully focused on the development of one of those proposals that has attracted much attention. Cyberpunk 2077 aims to be a really attractive and interesting title, more with what this studio used to make game, but Mamais has been very explicit with the sensations that transmits through the studio.
We will have to wait for CD Projekt RED to publicize Cyberpunk 2077, a game that has only confirmed its arrival to Xbox One.
