Cyberpunk 2077 Trademarked by CD Projekt RED Ahead of E3 2018
It is a fact that E3 2018 will be full of surprises. One of the most anticipated titles for this year’s event is undoubtedly Cyberpunk 2077, the new project of Projekt RED CD. Several clues indicate that the company will finally reveal the title and, apparently, make the final preparations to make it possible.
We tell you this because the company recently renewed the trademark of Cyberpunk 2077. The registration was made yesterday at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Its file includes the game’s logo and information related to software, online services and various promotional items, such as clothing and figures.
It is striking that the registration appears a few days before the start of E3 2018, so it is almost a fact that soon we will know details about Cyberpunk 2077. We know that CD Projekt RED will show an RPG for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, which is undoubtedly the title mentioned.
Some rumors suggest that the company is preparing an extensive presentation of its project. In fact, sources indicate that we will have approximately 1 hour of Cyberpunk 2077 in E3 2018.
Most of the details of the project are kept secret. Currently, we only know that Cyberpunk 2077 will be more ambitious than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will have a character creation system and that various creatives want to be part of the project.
CD Projekt RED hinted that its title will reach current and next-generation systems. Finally, you may be interested in knowing that the game will not be exclusive to GOG, as it will also be available on other distribution platforms.
