CD Projekt RED and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced a new partnership for the publication of the expected Cyberpunk 2077 in some European markets.

“Our current distribution partnership with BANDAI NAMCO is built on the strong foundation and trust developed during our previous projects,” said Michal Nowakowski, Board Member of CD Projekt and SVP of Business Development. “We’ve successfully cooperated on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and I’m convinced BANDAI NAMCO will take good care of Cyberpunk 2077.”

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe will be responsible for the distribution and promotion of Cyberpunk 2077 in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malta, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

“CD Projekt Red has become, in just a few years, one of the leading studios in this sector with a truly innovative approach to each game and we are both proud and excited to confirm that we’ll be part of the Cyberpunk 2077 project,” said Alberto González Lorca, VP of Southern Europe & Biz Dev of Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe. “We’re looking forward to working once again with CD Projekt Red and distribute another of its games in Europe, providing first-class services to one of the most eagerly awaited games of the coming years.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG based on a strong narrative set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future: Night City. The game follows the story of V, a mercenary in a world of cyber-powered street warriors, netrunners and other dangerous characters. Thanks to the distinctive mark of CD Projekt RED of choices and consequences, players will face difficult decisions that will have effects on the whole game. Winner of over 100 prizes at the E3 2018, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the universe of the classic Cyberpunk 2020 Table-Top Role Playing Game.
