Crash Team Racing PS4 Save File Corrupts Randomly, Here’s How to Fix It

0 387

In the past few hours, the Beenox guys have revealed the details of the first major update of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled coming July 3rd, which will introduce the Grand Prix mode and several refinements to the gaming experience. At the same time, they took the opportunity to report the discovery of a serious bug on PlayStation 4.

Apparently, the save game files can become corrupt in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled and therefore unusable if the data for race ghosts in Time Trials becomes too large. Many players have run into this problem after completing all the available tests.

Beenox, in this regard, advises all players on PlayStation 4 not to play the mode in question, or to make frequent backups of the save game files on a USB and/or cloud key.

The bug will be definitively be solved on July 3rd, when the patch will be published. We also specify that the problem does not appear to be present on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, so if you have these platforms you can continue to play safely.

To make up for it, Beenox has decided to award a bonus of 2,500 Wumpa Coins to all PS4 players who will complete a race by 4th July while they are connected to the internet. The bonus will be given within 24 hours of completion, upon access to the Pit Stop.

We take the opportunity to inform you that among our pages you will find a Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled guide on the complete list of cheat codes for PS4, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch.
