Microsoft: Crackdown 3 Is Still Under Development, Pre-Orders Canceled Due To Technical Issue

0 91

Recently, Amazon Spain has canceled the pre-orders for Crackdown 3, an exclusive title on Xbox One. Users immediately thought of the worst, fearing the delay of the project, or worse, the cancellation. The title, in fact, has not been shown for a long time and still has no release date.

A while ago, however, Aaron Greenberg in person, responsible for Marketing at Microsoft, decided to reassure fans on Twitter. The title is still under development and the cancellation of the pre-orders was caused by a technical error attributable exclusively to Amazon.

In that sense, Aaron Greenberg replied to a worried fan: “The team continues to work hard on the game for our fans, you should contact Amazon directly for any questions related to orders with them. Team also confirmed this was due to a technical issue on Amazon side and is being addressed. Hope that helps!”

Danger averted, so: Crackdown 3 is still underway and the team is working hard to create a title that meets the expectations of fans of the series. Greenberg, however, did not comment on the release date of the game.

Crackdown 3 is officially scheduled for this year, but Microsoft has not yet announced the precise day it will be launched. Moreover, the title is far from the scene for quite a while. We look forward to seeing the title again in action during the upcoming E3 2018: the Microsoft Showcase will be held on Sunday 10 June.
