Crackdown 3 Reportedly Delayed To 2019

Just when there is great expectation to see the offer of titles that Microsoft has prepared for E3 2018, it seems that the company will face a new complicated period before the event as there is information related to Crackdown 3 that will not please the fans at all.

A few moments ago, Jason Schreier, a journalist from Kotaku, reported that 2 sources close to the launch plans of Crackdown 3 revealed that the game will suffer a new delay and will have to readjust its debut plans for 2019.

The information refers that Microsoft decided to give more time to the development team so that they meet the established goals in terms of quality and thus “avoid yet another disaster”. Unfortunately, in case the information is confirmed, a new delay will represent a major blow to the Microsoft gaming division as the third installment of the series was announced in E3 2014 and later was announced as one of the titles that would accompany the launch of Xbox One X and it was even used as part of the promotional campaign to show the graphics performance of the new console.

After E3 2017, we knew that Crackdown 3 would not meet that launch goal and at that time Phil Spencer argued that they would not launch the game until reaching the level of quality that the fans deserve, a situation for which their departure for this year was rescheduled. However, the idea of a new delay began to make noise recently when Amazon Spain withdrew some pre-orders of the title, a situation that generated uncertainty and caused Microsoft, via Aaron Greenberg, to declare that there was nothing to worry about as they continue working on the game.

Thus, the information is confusing at this time, but the truth is that the information provided by Schreier must be taken into account and it is likely that in the coming days the truth about the release of Crackdown 3 will be known.
