Funcom has had good results with the complete launch of Conan Exiles. Through a statement, the company confirmed that the title is already its greatest success in its history, because in a short time it surpassed the 1.4 million copies sold mark.

For this reason, the developers prepared more content and prepared the final details for the premiere of the game in Japan, with the collaboration of Spike Chunsoft. Japanese players will be able to enjoy the survival game on PlayStation 4 starting on August 23.

At the beginning of the same month, a new DLC called Jewel of the West will be distributed in our region. Funcom confirmed that the arrival of additional content The Imperial East was a success, so they prepared new building pieces with Aquilonia theme.

Jewel of the West will also include more weapons, clothing, furniture and other items. Aquilonia is inspired by ancient Roman culture. In addition, the development team works on a major free update.

“In addition to the Jewel of the West, the team is also hard at work putting together one of our biggest free updates yet,” said Creative Director Joel Bylos. “Launching later this quarter, this update will introduce pets and taming to Conan Exiles, allowing players to find and tame anything from camels to panthers and even spiders and then use them to guard their base, carry resources, and more. This update will be free to all players on all platforms,” confirmed Joel Bylos, creative director of the game.

Funcom plans to launch the free update sometime during the current quarter. We will have to wait to know how the pet system will work and all the possibilities it will offer.

Conan Exiles is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Below I leave you a new trailer with the content of the next DLC:
