A year after its official presentation, Code Vein is close to seeing its development finished and everything indicates that there is little time left for the game to debut on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At least, that’s what was revealed by Keita Iizuka, the producer of the game, who spoke about the state that currently holds the title and mentioned that he is already thinking about a sequel.

As part of a question and answer session for Famitsu magazine, Keita Iizuka, the producer of Code Vein, revealed that the base of the game has been completed and the team is currently focused on polishing some details.

Likewise, the creative assured that the developers are working hard to deliver the game as soon as possible and he motivates them constantly so that the desired goal is reached soon. Although there is still no release date, Iizuka mentioned that Bandai Namco will continue to show progress in the game.

On the other hand, the producer of Code Vein referred to the creative process of the title and said he would like a sequel in which the world that has been created from different perspectives can be shown. According to Iizuka, this idea comes from the accumulation of knowledge and learning that the development team has had in the creation of this first title, something that has made them think of expanding the story in new titles.

Code Vein is scheduled to debut sometime in 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
