Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare PC Won’t Take 175GB HDD Space, “Initial Download Will be Smaller”
We recently informed you about the different system requirements that you will need if you want to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on your PC, highlighting the 175 GB of space required, however, Activision has clarified this issue. At its launch, the game will not use this huge amount of hard drive space, however, this may change in the future.
The distributor mentions that with the 175 GB they are referring to the space that they recommend users to have free on their computer, since after the launch they will offer content that will make the size of the game larger. That said, Activision assured that the size of the initial download of the game will be less.
“175GB is the storage space we recommend players keep available in order to download the post-launch content we’ll be bringing to Modern Warfare,” the company declared. “At launch, the initial download will be smaller.”
