Yesterday, fans waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 were thrilled after learning that CD Projekt RED was working on several titles inspired by their upcoming and ambitious game. However, today there is no good news about it because everything that came before was simply a confusion.

According to a report, an email was sent by a representative of CD Projekt RED in which he denies that the Polish company is working on various titles related to Cyberpunk 2077. According to the information, the misunderstanding originated after the first notes in English did not interpret adequately the statements of Adam Kiciński, which were translated directly into Google.

In this regard, the representative pointed out that there are not 3 projects related to Cyberpunk 2077, but that there are 3 teams working on the game: “We currently have a total of five teams working on a number of projects, with three focusing on the development of Cyberpunk 2077. These include CD Projekt Red Warsaw and Kraków, who are handling the main game, as well as the Wrocław studio, where around 40 industry specialists are engaged in technology R&D. A separate, dedicated team at the Warsaw studio is handling the development of Gwent. The final team is Spokko, which is currently working on a yet unannounced mobile project.”

In this way, it is confirmed that there are no more projects around Cyberpunk 2077, something understandable because the title is so ambitious and requires many resources to think about creating something from it without it having been launched.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on April 16th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
