Capcom Wants To Launch 3 Major Games Every Fiscal Year

After several setbacks, Capcom has had good years delivering what the fans expect. That is why we believe that many will be happy to know that the company has plans to pamper players with more games. In fact, its plan is to launch approximately 3 major games each year.
Capcom revealed this in its most recent financial report. In it, the company said that one of its main growth factors will be the launch of new games. It also stressed that they want to continue selling in the long term by supporting players post-launch content and managing pricing strategies.
“Specifically, new titles will work as growth drivers as we (1) release approximately three major titles each year, (2) extend the sales life of these titles to 3–4 years with additional content and pricing strategies and (3) strengthen our presence overseas, which comprises approximately 85% of the total market,” the company said.
Considering that 2 of Capcom’s next major releases – Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5 – are from this fiscal year, it will be interesting to see what surprises are on the way. Whatever it is, it seems that it is a good time for all who like the products of this company.
