Call of Duty: WWII Nintendo Switch version speculated increasingly likely

One of the most anticipated and promising games of this year is Call of Duty: WWII. The title of Activision developed by Sledgehammer Games has been announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One but now it seems that Nintendo Switch could receive its own version. And, as the PVPLive website points out, there have been a series of events that seem to indicate that Activision will make a CoD WWII port for the new Nintendo console.

The first indication of the possible development of Call of Duty WWII for Nintendo Switch is a tweet published by Beenox in which they have shown an image of several members of the studio accompanied by soldiers along with the message: “We have two representatives from the Canadian Armed Forces who tell us about their experience and their profession!.”

Taking into account that this Canadian studio has already worked on Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, as well as in ports of CoD Black Ops 3, and which has collaborated with Nintendo in titles like Skylanders SuperChargers or the two Spider-Man of Wii U, it is logical to think that they might be taking notes to adapt Call of Duty WWII, or some other title of the franchise, to Nintendo Switch.

The second clue to the possible development of CoD WWII for Nintendo Switch comes directly from Activision. The company has updated the Call of Duty website so that the profile of CoD can be linked to that of the Nintendo Account. Until today, this action could only be done with the accounts of PSN, Xbox Live and Steam, so it is quite striking to know that now you can also link the user accounts of Call of Duty with those of Nintendo.

It is necessary to clarify that Activision has not announced anything on the matter, so we can not confirm that Call of Duty WWII will arrive on Nintendo Switch nor that Beenox is behind the adaptation of this title, or of any other title of the saga, for the new console of Nintendo.

We will have to pay close attention to Nintendo in E3 2017 in case the announcement of the arrival of Call of Duty WWII to Switch is announced. If so, we will give you all the information on our website as soon as possible.
