Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Confirms Keyboard & Mouse Support on PS4

On the pages of PlayStation Blog, Infinity Ward has officially confirmed the support for mouse and keyboard on PS4 for its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The matchmaking for multiplayer modes of the game should in fact be based on the devices – controller vs controller, mouse and keyboard vs mouse and keyboard – and not on the platform itself.
In this regard, the design director of the game, Joe Cecot, explained the following: “One of the main ways is that we are planning on matchmaking based on peripheral. We’re also supporting different peripherals, so if you want to plug a keyboard [and mouse] into your PS4, you can.”
This should make matchmaking even more balanced, as well as allow more competitive players to enjoy the sensitivity and precision of pointing offered by a mouse.
In a related news today, the software company also anticipated that we will “soon” see in action also the campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. To answer this question was Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director for Infinity Ward, who was challenged by the fans and clarified on Twitter.
Coming up. Soon.
