While yesterday we told you that the Call of Duty 2019, developed by Infinity Ward, will have a campaign mode thanks to a job offer, today, in addition, we have known that the game will be available on the next generation of consoles.
“Come work with the game industry’s brightest on a new, exciting, unannounced title for multiple next-gen platforms,” can be read in the announcement.
While it is true that this information does not confirm that PlayStation 5 or PS5 and the next Xbox will arrive by 2019, it is interesting to know that a game scheduled to be published next year will also reach new platforms.
Recall that an analyst estimated that the new Sony console will arrive by the end of 2020, while Michael Pachter added that the launch of both consoles would be “simultaneous”.
As you know, Activision and Treyarch have decided to omit a single player campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops IV, which will then be entirely focused on its multiplayer online sector, including among other things a Battle Royale mode. The classic single-player campaign could, however, return in the next chapter of Call of Duty, coming in 2019 and developed by Infinity Ward, famous for having worked on the sub-series of Modern Warfare.
There is no official information about the new Call of Duty 2019 by Infinity Ward. However, we already know that the studio has hired several members of Respawn Entertainment to work on the next chapter in the shooter series. We take advantage to remember that Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will be available from October 12 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
