Bungie Confirms Destiny 2’s Three of Coins Is Bugged and Will Be Fixed
Destiny 2 continues to be at war with its community. While at the beginning of the month it raised complaints about segregation due to the arrival of the expansion of Osiris Curse, today the bugs are responsible for the fact that tempers do not subside in the last installment of Bungie.
This weekend the Xur merchant came to the game world, with a new item in its inventory: Three of Coins. Its purpose is to increase the probability that will get you an exotic engram by killing an ultra class enemy.
However, players flocked to the subreddit of Destiny to indicate that the object does not seem to be working: they did not get any exotic engrama, even after using the object multiple times.
After playing “nearly 16 hours”, as they relate, and receiving only two exotics that fell without the active Three of Coins object, Redditor Brknsymtry came to the conclusion that something was wrong.
Indeed, Bungie was quick to confirm to Brknsymtry and the other users that, in effect, there was a problem with the object through a message on its official forum: “We have found that Heroic Strikes do not currently grant higher chances for Exotics when using Three of Coins consumables, compared to Vanguard Strikes.”
The company said it plans to solve this problem “in early 2018” and will continue to monitor this feature “throughout the holiday season.”
Destiny 2 is available on both PS4 and Xbox One, as well as on PC.
