Borderlands 3 Hints Cross-Platform Play, According to Microsoft Store
Cross-play is one of the most requested features in current games and it is not for less. After all, thanks to it we have the opportunity to play some titles with our friends from other platforms. This is why we believe that more than one will be thrilled to know that Borderlands 3 could count on cross-play.
What we mean is that the product page of Borderlands 3 in the Microsoft Store mentions this. In the characteristics section of the game it is mentioned that it will have “cross-plaform co-op.” That is to say, the same label appears on the product page of cross-play games such as Rocket League; Minecraft and Sea of Thieves. You can see the label in the screenshots that we present at the top of this news:
This all sounds great, but what does 2K Games say about it? The company sent a statement explaining its position: “Cross play is something we’re looking at closely, but don’t have anything to confirm or announce at this time.”
As you can see, the words of 2K Games were clear: the cross-play interests them, but they can not confirm that it will be in in the title. With this in mind, we believe that it is best that you take this information as a rumor or an error on Microsoft’s part. In case the cross-play for Borderlands 3 is confirmed, we will let you know.
Borderlands 3 will release on September 13 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And you, would you like the game to have cross-play? Tell us in the comments below.
