Bloodborne recreated in Unreal Engine 4 by an artist at DICE

An artist of the development studio DICE (originally for Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge) recreated the main environments of Bloodborne with the graphics engine of Unreal Engine 4. The rendering, very successful, is visible in video and images below.

Bloodborne in Unreal Engine 4

Available since last year, Bloodborne has attracted many players on PS4. The title of FromSoftware has learned the benefits of its previous productions (Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls) to provide a qualitative result, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of its implementation.

Simon Barle, an artist specializing in environments at DICE (studio to whom we owe the Battlefield series or Mirror’s Edge), has recreated one of the sets of Bloodborne – Hunters Dream – with the graphics engine of Unreal Engine 4.

The recording is visible in video and pictures, with a qualitative result, particularly in the effects of light that is very rich in textures.

Also, soon you might probably see more artwork of Bloodborne, since the title is being adapted for a board game. The other franchise of the game, Dark Souls, also received in a short time, a board version.

Many other games have been recreated using the Unreal Engine 4 by several fans.
