The Japanese site 4Gamer recently interviewed several members of From Software in respect of plans and expectations for the new year. Nevertheless both Teruyuki Toriyama and Masaaki Yamagiwa have confirmed to be working on new projects, but none of these seems to be the sequel of Bloodborne.
Teruyuki Toriyama (Producer of From Software) made it known to be working on several concepts while Masaaki Yamagiwa (Producer of Bloodborne) has revealed that he is working on a new project since last spring, the title in question could be announced in 2017, although at the moment there are no certainties about it.
It is not clear about what is at work from Hidetaka Miyazaki, after the denial of the rumor of the partnership with Kentaro Miura, although in interviews he has repeatedly made it clear that he wants to try out some new ideas, going beyond the simple Souls-like.
The main members of the staff of From Software, however, seems to be all busy on other jobs, hence the idea that Bloodborne 2 (project never officially announced) can be developed by a different studio.
It is not excluded that work on the Bloodborne sequel may already have started in the offices of Sony Japan Studios, however, we reiterate what is reported is only the result of speculation and rumors unconfirmed.
