Blizzard Working on A Mysterious First-Person Game, Will Also Have Drivable Vehicles
Blizzard has inadvertently revealed, with a job announcement, that it is working on a new unannounced project, for which we learn that it will be played in the first person and that there will be vehicles that can be controlled.
The job listing reads the following: “Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented gameplay engineer to help create vehicles and build vehicle handling features in a robust first-person engine for an unannounced project. The ideal candidate has proven experience in vehicle handling, with exposure to other game systems like physics, animation, and cameras.”
So, the new team will work on vehicles that will be used in a first-person view. It’s even better to get into animations, physics in the game, and cameras (probably thinking of the camera view, not the space observers).
The position, in short, is open to highly competent and navigated profiles, which will help the author, among others, of Overwatch and Hearthstone, to give birth to its new mysterious work.
In another news, as part of a winter campaign, Blizzard Entertainment has lowered the price of the shooter Overwatch by a considerable 50 percent. In the US, there is the discount only on the PC version. Incidentally, the offer ends on 2 January 2018, so you should quickly grab the opportunity before time runs out.
