A few days ago, Activision officially unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the new chapter of the sub-series developed by Treyarch. While confirming their future arrival, the publisher has not specified when the Beta the shooter will be available.
As reported by GameStop Germany, however, we may have discovered today when the test phase of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will take place. The retailer talks about a closed beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles coming up in August for three days, and a subsequent Open Beta for PC users.
“Anticipated launch of Private Beta is in August,” says GameStop Germany. “The BETA access codes will be sent shortly before the beta starts. Minimum duration of the beta: 3 days. Internet connection required. Also in August, the Open Beta for the PC version takes place! For the PC version, no codes are sent because no code is needed for playing.” The reseller’s price list has now been changed, but you can read the above information via Google’s cache.
Waiting for the arrival of official information by Activision and Treyarch, we recall that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 12, 2018. The game will include a Battle Royale mode called Blackout.
