Beyond Good and Evil 2 New Gameplay Video Showcases Combat and More
As scheduled, Ubisoft held a special transmission of Beyond Good and Evil 2 a few hours back. Michel Ancel, the creative director of the game, and other members of the company revealed a new gameplay of this space adventure.
The video gives us the first details about the combat and the driving of ships that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will have. Before continuing, you should know that the game sequences still correspond to an Alpha version, so the final result could be different.
The trailer shows how ambitious the title will be in terms of its world and its mechanics. In the game you will be a space pirate, so the gameplay will have sections where you will embark on trips in a ship or where you must explore on foot, or with the use of a jetpack, various locations. We also see a bit of the motion capture sessions, important to give spectacular game combats.
It was also confirmed that, during the broadcast, Ancel said that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be present at E3 2018, so we’ll probably see more of its gameplay. Unfortunately, there are still no clues about the platforms on which this ambitious project will be launched. This implies that there is no confirmed launch window either.
In June of last year, Ancel declared that the game was still at an early stage of development, so maybe it will not debut this year; however, Ubisoft might surprise us. Without further ado, I leave you with the gameplay video of Beyond Good and Evil 2 below.
