Michel Ancel, the creator of games like Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil, shared via internet a mysterious illustration that seems to reconfirm that the sequel to the latter title is still in development.
The creator of Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil, Michel Ancel, recently shared a mysterious teaser image on his Instagram account, which seems to announce news related to Beyond Good and Evil 2 going to happen very soon.
Next to this image, which you can see a mechanic and a young pig (probably Pey’j in its infancy), Ancel wrote: “Somewhere in system 4 … – Thanks #ubisoft for making this possible!”
In addition, Ubisoft France has posted on Twitter the same image recommending to the fans of Ancel to stay tuned to the official website of Instagram, so you may soon receive more related news to this anticipated sequel (or prequel, judging from the illustration).
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is taking many years in development, although it is not yet known practically anything about the title beyond that Ancel has been working on the game while he was responsible for other projects.
The first installment was originally released in 2003 for PC, GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2, offering a mix of action, exploration, puzzles and platforms which was very well received by both audiences and critics.
Is Beyond Good and Evil 2 going to be a direct sequel to the original, or a prequel, as the picture seems to suggest? Do let us know in the comment section below.
