Bethesda Confirms That It Is Working on 2 New Games

Everything indicates that Bethesda is preparing some surprises for its fans. Pete Hines, the vice president of marketing for the company, hinted a few months ago that they were working on several important projects; however, he did not give details about it.

Now, Todd Howard, the director and executive producer of the studio, confirmed that they are currently working on 2 new powerful titles. During a recent interview with The Game Maker’s Notebook, the creative said that one of the projects is in full development.

Howard stated that his other title has not been revealed so far and that it is in preproduction. According to him, the said game will be developed with a new game engine. Unfortunately, the producer did not elaborate on it.

Despite this, the community believes that it could be something related to Starfield, a brand that has been renewed several times but has not been used in a specific title. According to some rumors, it is an open-world sci-fi title; however, the company has not revealed many details of the project.

Finally, Howard stated that there are currently approximately 300 people working on the 2 new titles. The fact that one of the projects is in preproduction could indicate that the first of them is at an advanced stage of its development, so we could know information about it soon.

A new vacancy of the company also gave some clues about the magnitude of the new projects of Bethesda, who is looking for a new level designer. The studio has already confirmed its participation in E3 2018, where we will probably see some of the news that they have for this year.
