Super Mario Odyssey Was The Best-Selling Game of 2017 on Amazon

2017 has been left behind and now it is time to observe the balance of sales that some stores and analysis firms offer to publicize the products related to video games preferred by consumers. The first store to present results is Amazon, which revealed the best selling products of 2017 in terms of video games and Super Mario Odyssey is the best selling title of the year in the store.
Yesterday, Amazon revealed its list with the best-selling video games related to products of 2017 and, as expected after a year of success, Nintendo had a strong presence that accounts for the users’ preference for the titles of the Japanese company.
According to the list, Super Mario Odyssey is the best-selling game of 2017, although in general terms it ranks third below cards for PlayStation Store. In terms of software, Nintendo had the preference of consumers at Amazon because Super Mario Odyssey is followed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the sixth position and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the seventh place.
Regarding titles from other platforms, the first group on the list, which includes the top 20, presents Horizon: Zero Dawn from PlayStation 4 at position 15 and Call of Duty: WWII for PS4 and Xbox One at positions 16 and 17, respectively.
Now, as we can see in the image, in terms of hardware, Nintendo Switch, with its gray model, was the most sold console of 2017 on Amazon, ranking as the eighth best-selling video game product of the year. Further down the list is the version of Switch in neon occupying the 14th place, so that only the Nintendo console was present among the 20 best-selling games related to the year.
In general hardware terms, the Nintendo console is followed by the 500GB PlayStation 4 Slim bundle with Uncharted 4, which was ranked 22, the PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB model at 37 and PS4 Pro which occupied position 64. Finally, the Xbox One S model of 500GB reached the 50th place in the list, while Xbox One X is present in the 73rd position.
