Bayonetta 3 Is Still In Early Stage of Development, Voice Actress Hellena Taylor Says

Bayonetta 3 was revealed at The Game Awards 2017 and for now, the only thing we know about it is that it is exclusively coming to Switch and that it will be a dangerous adventure of the game. That said, new clues seem to indicate that the silence of PlatinumGames is due to a good reason: the project is just at an early stage of development.

What we are referring to is that, in a recent live broadcast of SEGA, Hellena Taylor, the voice actress who lends her voice to Bayonetta, mentioned that she has not been invited to participate in this third installment. According to her, it is most likely that this situation is due to the fact that the project is just at an early stage of development and that PlatinumGames will surely get in touch with her when they need her.

The bad news is that Taylor’s statements do not tell us what stage of development Bayonetta 3 is in. The only thing that is revealed to us is that she is not yet in the stage of recording of voice performances, which is usually at some point in the second half of the project.

Finally, Taylor said that in case she is invited to Bayonetta 3, it will practically be a fact that she will not be able to talk about the project. So, those who want more information about what awaits will have to wait for Platinum or Nintendo to talk about Bayonetta 3.

We take advantage of the fact that we talked about Bayonetta 3 to tell you that Hideki Kamiya, one of the creators of the franchise, explained why it will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, we remind you that you can play Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 on the hybrid console already.
