The reveal of Battlefield V seems to be very close: in the past few hours, an Easter egg of Battlefield 1 has been discovered that refers to a page of Electronic Arts (called Never Be The Same) that shows the date of May 23, 2018, in addition to a hashtag of #Battlefield.
The page in question, according to some theories, could be closely linked to the reveal of the new Battlefield, which could, therefore, be scheduled for May 23, although other sources spoke of a teaser coming this week.
The description “Battlefield Never Be The Same” would suggest big news coming for the series: Electronic Arts has confirmed the presence of the single-player campaign while rumors of the possible inclusion of the Battle Royale mode could be the surprise in store for Battlefield 2018.
The CEO of Electronic Arts Andrew Wilson has recently unveiled new information about Battlefield V stating the following: “With our next Battlefield game, the team at DICE is bringing the intensity of combat to life in new and unexpected ways. Every battle is unique, and every mode brings its own challenges – from the way you interact with the environment around you, to compelling single-player stories, to the next level of large-scale multiplayer that spans across multiple maps and modes.”
According to some insiders, Battlefield V would be the codename to hide the title of the game which is known by the name of Battlefield Bad Company 3, a title that should be set during World War II. We just have to wait to learn more, the new Battlefield will be unveiled in the next month on June 9 during the even of EA Play E3 2018.
