Shortly before the unveiling of Battlefield V in the coming week, the first information about the new shooter arrived. Among other things, a new setting is promised. And the war stories are back again.
After much speculation, the shooter Battlefield V will be introduced next week. This is done as part of a livestream, to which you will find more information here. Shortly before the development of the game, Electronic Arts has sprinkled some clues on the official site to suggest what players can expect with this game.
In the said blog entry, there is a talk of a “brand new gaming experience”. In addition, you can adjust to a setting that apparently is not settled in the First World War. According to it: “Battlefield 1 gave players the definitive World War 1 experience that brought the dawn of all-out war to life. But the next Battlefield happens on another frontline.”
The revelation, which will take place in the coming week, will give you “the first look at DICE’s immersive portrayal of the new setting.” Evidently also the multiplayer battles, which should appear extensively, are presented. It is even said that these are raised to a completely “next level”. “Prepare for multiplayer that spans multiple maps and modes, meaning you’ll experience more varied and exciting Battlefield moments,” it continues.
In the blog entry, Electronic Arts and DICE also refer to a unique look and soundscape. Also, the operations mode is mentioned, but not officially confirmed. “A player-favorite from Battlefield 1, Operations have given you the chance to take epic journeys across several maps. Will this teamplay-focused experience be in the next Battlefield? You’ll know if you watch the live reveal,” can be read on the blog entry.
Finally, DICE and EA commented on the war stories: “DICE believes in both all-out multiplayer and single player, and the live reveal will have more info on the returning fan-favorite War Stories. Prepare for untold, compelling narratives in a new setting.”
