Battlefield 1 Open Beta will launch after Gamescom 2016

The German community manager of Battlefield revealed some interesting details on the conduct of the next phase of testing of Battlefield 1.

The Gamescom of Cologne (Germany) takes place between 17 and August 21 with the next great quote from the developers and video game distributors. One of the issues still to be resolved was the open beta of Battlefield 1 that will arrive in late summer on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

One of the community managers of EA Germany, said in a livestream of questions and answers that the beta will begin shortly after the Gamescom. According to comments by Sebastian Moritz, in fact, the beta of the shooter will begin shortly after the Gamescom 2016, to be held in Cologne August 17 to 21, suggesting that the dates will be announced right at the event.

Moritz has also revealed that participants in the initiative of Battlefield Insider will have access to the beta with at least three days in advance.

Among other details, the community manager has confirmed that the assault mode will be present in Battlefield 1 as indicated in the files of the alpha version.

Battlefield 1 is one of the most anticipated titles expected at the end of 2016, and while the game is currently in closed alpha many players are waiting to get their hand on the latest effort of the license of DICE.

Battlefield 1 will be available from October 21 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
