BattleCry permanently cancelled, according to a developer
In August last year, Bethesda has announced the suspension of the development of Battlecry, multiplayer title free-to-play in development at BattlecCry Studios. Today it seems that the game has been permanently cancelled, even though they lack the confirmation of the publisher.
According to the reports, David Dobert (Embedded QA Designer) has updated his LinkedIn profile, adding between professional experiences for the work of BattleCry, now cancelled, as it reads in the brackets. It also appears that the Twitter profile of the game has been permanently eliminated, while the profile of BattleCry Studios has reached standstill for more than 12 months.
For some months there was talk of the cancellation of BattleCry, but recently some facts had caused the worst fear for the game. A few days ago some news emerged that the development studio who was working on the game, the BattleCry Studios, has been put to work on the multiplayer of DOOM.
In any case, we invite you to take this news as a rumor with proper precaution. We will just have to wait for any clarification from Bethesda Softworks.
