Battle Royale Mode for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Available Now
Given the recent success of the Battle Royale genre, it is a matter of time before more titles receive a similar gameplay either from companies or created by users.
Although there are some rumors about the possible arrival of a Battle Royale mode to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a German developer has already gone ahead and launched a server where you can experience this kind of experience.
The German developer Kinsi created a server designed to offer a Battle Royale experience for CS:GO. The Go4TheKill server integrates elements of popular titles of the genre such as H1Z1: King of the Kill, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, and Fortnite.
The map presents a mountainous area with numerous villages scattered in different quadrants. It has security zones and access to a large number of items, weapons, and packages to recover health. The bad news is that it only supports sessions for up to 20 players, unlike the 100 players who get used to official games of the genre.
If you want to try the Go4TheKill server for CS:GO you must enter your Steam account data on its site (obviously under your responsibility) and once you log in there run the multiplayer shooter of Valve and wait until you receive an alert that will warn you about the next game.
